Limonite after pyrite psuedomorph specimen, west texas

Dear bloggers,
I am pleased to bring you the latest addition to our shop, although not handmade, it was hand collected off our land. I've always been a rockhound at heart and am now going to add a few specimens to our shop.

An excellent Limonite after Pyrite crystal psuedomorph specimen.
Limonite is a form of Iron ore, in this case that was transformed by chemical change from Pyrite into the Limonite, keeping the pyrite crystals natural shape. I know it sounds weird, but it's true!
Found on our land in west Texas. Perfect for a rock collection or a teaching prop.
Weights 6 grams/ 30 carats
Measures 12x10x10mm.
